Affordable housing open house coming up

Fort Collins is moving forward with plans to encourage more affordable housing.

The city has scheduled an open house next week to review and invite comment on a draft affordable housing strategy plan.

The draft addresses ways to preserve existing affordable housing, with an emphasis on mobile home parks.

Feedback from the open house will be shared with City Council when it considers adoption of the plan March 5.
The open house will take place on Thursday, Jan. 24, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. in the Community Room at 215 N. Mason St.
