Advanced Energy expands into India

FORT COLLINS – Advanced Energy Industries Inc. has joined Bergen Group to develop a one-megawatt solar array in India, the Fort Collins solar company said Monday.

The project in Kalanaur is part of a partnership between the companies to better serve the high-growth Indian photovoltaic market, Advanced Energy said in a statement. The Indian market has considerable potential because of its rising demand for energy and growing economy.

India’s desire for renewable and clean energy sources “strongly aligns” with Advanced Energy expertise in lowering the cost of energy, Advanced Energy said.
