Empowering communities

Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP), part of the UnitedHealthcare family, has pledged its commitment to uplift these communities through substantial investments in organizations addressing the distinct needs of our communities.

New Mark Merrill also on Monday launched Village Sneak Peek and Prizes, a series of contests conducted on social media. In the first contest, which runs through May 18, 2015, high school graduates of the St. Vrain Valley School District have a chance to win a $300 gift card to Whole Foods to fund a celebration. To enter the contest, community members log onto the Village at the Peaks Facebook page, submit a photo of their outstanding high school graduate and state why their graduate deserves to win. People can go to the page and vote. The student with the most votes will win the gift card.

To date, 80 percent of the planned 490,000-square-foot project is pre-leased. The project broke ground Aug. 1, 2014, and the first retailers are expected to open in fall 2015. Anchors include Whole Foods, Regal Cinemas and Sam’s Club, along with The Sports Authority, Wyatt’s Wine & Spirits, Gold’s Gym, Chuck & Don’s Pet Food and Supplies, Party City, Parry’s Pizza, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, The Melt, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Visionworks, Supercuts, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Luxury Nails and Spa and Pacific Dental. Groundbreaking for Sam’s Club is scheduled to begin this June.
