Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

“We are excited to have someone with Nathan’s depth and knowledge of Colorado outdoors on our team,” Luis Benitez, director of the Colorado Office of Outdoor Recreation, said in a prepared statement. “He has been an active member of our advisory council for three years and has provided vital input to the creation of the Confluence Accords and the coalition of states, bringing together a 10-state coalition of outdoor recreation industry offices. With this working knowledge of our industry, we know he will hit the ground running.”

Fey was also coordinator of the San Miguel Watershed Coalition and worked at Ridgeway Independent Guide Service as a fly-fishing guide and kayak instructor. He has been recognized as a partner in conservation by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
