Median-sale price in Boulder exceeds $1M for 2nd month in 2017

LOVELAND — The median-sale price for a single-family home in Boulder surpassed the million-dollar mark in October, the second month that has happened this year, according to a report released Monday by Loveland-based Information Real Estate Services Inc.

Based on 63 sales from 164 listings, the median price was $1,050,000 in Boulder, topping the $1,008,970 recorded in May.

Elsewhere in the region that makes up the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado, the median-sale price in Longmont reached $400,000 for the month, the second-highest month of the year. It was $409,000 in August. And the median-sale price reached a monthly high for the year in the Loveland/Berthoud market at $390,000.

In Longmont, there were 98 sales from 162 listings with an average number of days on the market of 48. In the Loveland/Berthoud market, there were 196 sales from 470 listings with an average time on the market of 71 days.

In Fort Collins, the median-sale price was $375,000, fourth-highest month for the year and 6.7 percent higher than the previous month. There were 266 sales from 644 listings with an average time on the market of 73 days.

The median-sale price in the Greeley/Evans market held steady month-to-month at $280,000. There were 147 sales from 269 listings with an average time on the market of 52 days.

In Estes Park, there were 24 sales on 143 listings with a median-sale price of $403,000, below the year’s high of $500,000 in June. Average number of days on the market was 94.
