Colorado Springs Utilities Board approves hydroelectric plant
COLORADO SPRINGS — A hydroelectric plant supplying Fort Carson was approved by the Colorado Springs Utilities Board.
Pending city council approval, developers will be able to break ground this fall on the project, built downstream from the Pueblo Dam.
Nobody on the utilities board opposed the plant, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported.
