New co-working space to open in Stapleton

AURORA — A new co-working space is opening in Stapleton.

CentralSpace will occupy a 19,000 square-foot building near Stanley Marketplace, BusinessDen reports. It’s expected to open in September.

The owner of CentralSpace, Demetrius Bassoukos, was actually in search for bigger office space for his product and web design company. But after seeing how high rent was, Bassoukos decided to purchase the 0.43-acre site at 9555 E. Montview Blvd. in Aurora for $1.9 million.

The plan is for half of the building to be co-working space for design and technology companies, while the other half will be used by his company and retail space, like a coffee shop.

A co-working rate has not yet been set, but because the building is outside downtown and can have free parking for tenants, Bassoukos is looking at the low end of local rental rates.
