Tech-firm Conga receives funding from Salesforce Ventures

BROOMFIELD —  AppExtremes LLC, doing business as Conga, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Saleforce Ventures, the Broomfield-based company announced Thursday.

Conga provides document generation, presentation and reporting tools for San Francisco-based Salesforce.com Inc.

The funding will help accelerate Conga’s product development and support the evolution of its product suite, which includes Conga ActionGrid, Conga Composer, Conga Contracts and Conga Novatus Enterprise CLM.

In the first quarter of this year, Conga’s bookings almost doubled compared with the same quarter a year ago, driven in part by the launch and adoption of its next-generation contract-management solution, Conga Contracts.

The Conga Contracts product suite, built on the Salesforce platform, helps organizations accelerate the contract creation, negotiation, management, completion and analysis among customers, sales and legal teams.

Salesforce Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Salesforce.com., last month announced a $50 million fund to invest in “cloud-consulting” startups.

Conga has more 600,000 users in more than 45 countries across a variety of industries, including companies such as Hilton Worldwide, Schumacher Group and CBRE. It also has operations in the United Kingdom and Australia.
