BOULDER — Shinesty Inc., a clothing startup that specializes in making loud, brightly printed outfits for men and women, raised about $3.4 million in capital.
The Boulder retailer, which landed a deal for a reality show with MTV last year, is offering equity and seeking $4.4 million, according to a Form D filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The form was filed May 25. Shinesty did not return a request for comment.

Shinesty makes products such as American flag- and dollar-bill-printed blazers, ’80s-looking neon ski suits and tropical dresses and shirts.
The startup’s show has yet to debut, but the company, which was founded in 2014, has participated in the Catalyze CU accelerator and Mergelane’s accelerator.
