Colorado Mills Mall likely to stay closed until the holidays

LAKEWOOD — After being hit by a hailstorm earlier this month, the Colorado Mills shopping center confirmed it may not fully reopen until later this year, in time for the holidays.

Although anchor tenants will open when they are able to, a statement on the mall’s website said officials were not able to estimate when it would reopen, but expect it to be around the holiday season, writes the Denver Post.

No one was injured in the storm, but the shopping center did get water damage throughout the interior after the hail punched holes in the roof.
