Deny Designs acquired by California firm for $12M

A California-based company has acquired Deny Designs, an online home-prouducts boutique based in Englewood.

The Denver Post reports that Leaf Group, based in Santa Monica, Calif., purchased Deny Designs for $12 million. Leaf also owns Deny Designs rival Society6, another online seller of home furnishings. The brands are expected to remain separate.

Deny Designs brings together almost 200 artists, reproducing designs on household items such as bedding. Leaf employs almost 300 people, mostly in California.
