The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has received a $38 million gift for an institute to research traumatic brain injuries.
The Denver Business Journal reports that The Marcus Foundation, based in Atlanta, will provide the funds over the next five years. The foundation was created by the founder of The Home Depot.
The Marcus Institute for Brain Health at CU Anschutz will open this summer, focusing on veterans who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.
