Growler USA beer pub set to open Saturday in Louisville

LOUISVILLE — Husband-and-wife team Brian and Lenore Jagerson will open a Growler USA franchise in Louisville this Saturday.

The brewpub at 1071 Courtesy Road will be Growler USA’s third franchise in Colorado, after openings in Centennial and Colorado Springs.

Centennial-based Growler USA features more than 100 draft selections from area breweries, including Odd 13, Odell Brewing Co., Elevation Beer Co., Crooked Stave, Gravity Brewing Co. and Art+Farm Wine.

The pub serves beer flights, hard cider, draught wine, mead and kombucha. Growler USA also serves a beer-inspired food menu with twists on American classics. General manager Chris Engles will help run the location, bringing more than 40 years of restaurant experience to the team.

The Growler USA pub in Louisville has rustic, reclaimed wood bar tops and eco-friendly bamboo tabletops, as well as a patio and large roll-up door.

Growler USA microbrew pubs are operating in 10 locations throughout the United States. More than 50 additional pubs have been awarded and are expected to open in 2017-2018, including pubs in Arvada and Lone Tree.

The pub in Louisville is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 10:30 a.m. to midnight; Friday and Saturday; and 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
