Private-equity firm completes $2.5B acquisition of Air Methods
A private equity firm has completed its $2.5 billion acquisition of Centennial Airport-based Air Methods Corp.
The Denver Business Journal reports that American Securities LLC paid $43 per share for the medical-transport company. Air Methods’ stock no longer will trade on the Nasdaq stock exchange.
Air Methods operates about 500 fixed-wing airplanes and helicopters.
