Landhuis Co. proposing yet another project in Northern Colorado

FORT COLLINS — Officials of Colorado Springs-based The Landhuis Co. are scheduled to meet with Fort Collins’ city planners on Monday to go over conceptual plans to develop Hansen Farm in Fort Collins.

The company is proposing a mixed-use development by that name on about 45 acres at 6015 S. Timberline Road. It would include 152 single-family homes, 64 town-home units, apartments and commercial space.

The Landhuis Co. is very active in Northern Colorado. Its website lists several ongoing and planned developments, including The Ridge at Harmony Road in Windsor, Hidden Valley Farm in Severance, Hammond Farm in Berthoud, Fisher Farm in Timnath, Longmont Gardens in Longmont, Liberty Ranch in Mead and Mountain Edge in Fort Collins.

The Ridge at Harmony Road – northeast corner of Harmony Road and County Road 13 — 425 acres, 1,200-lot master planned community, 412 residential lots finished with some still available. More lots will be developed in 2017.  Multifamily residential and commercial development is planned for the future.

Hidden Valley Farm – northwest corner of County Roads 21 and 70 — 800 residential lots.  87 lots completed in the latest filing, with some still available for sale.  More lots will be developed in 2017.

Hammond Farm – southwest corner of Taft Road and County Road 10E. 400 residential lots and commercial land, 86 lots developed and under contract, more lots will be developed in 2017.

Fisher Farm – southeast corner of County Roads 5 and 42E. 600 residential lots with mixed-use, lots will be developed in 2017.

Mountains Edge – northeast corner of Drake and Timberline roads. 130 single-family and multifamily residential lots. Lots will be developed in 2017.

Longmont Gardens – northeast corner of Colorado Highway 66 and Hover Street. Z zoned for commercial and high-density residential

Liberty Ranch – southeast corner of Colorado Highway 66 and County Road 5½. Eleven acres zoned commercial.
