BROOMFIELD — Colt & Steel Corp., a construction and excavation company that specializes in environmental restoration, has moved from Boulder to 2150 W. Sixth Ave. in Broomfield.
Colt & Steel, led by president Joe Defranco, moved into a 4,000-square-foot mix of office and warehouse space that is owned by Denver-based Comunale Properties.
The move, from 2,500-square-feet of space at 4535 Broadway in Boulder, took place in March and resulted in an approximately 15 percent decrease in the per-foot lease rate, said Micah Loeb of The Colorado Group Inc., who along with Jason Kruse represented Colt & Steel on the lease transaction.
The company has 15 employees, of whom about five work on the company’s job sites.
Comunale Properties was represented by Jeremy Kroner, Erik Abrahamson, Tyler Carner and Jeremy Ballenger of CBRE.
