Colt & Steel Corp. moves from Boulder to Broomfield

BROOMFIELD — Colt & Steel Corp., a construction and excavation company that specializes in environmental restoration, has moved from Boulder to 2150 W. Sixth Ave. in Broomfield.

Colt & Steel, led by president Joe Defranco, moved into a 4,000-square-foot mix of office and warehouse space that is owned by Denver-based Comunale Properties.

The move, from 2,500-square-feet of space at 4535 Broadway in Boulder, took place in March and resulted in an approximately 15 percent decrease in the per-foot lease rate, said Micah Loeb of The Colorado Group Inc., who along with Jason Kruse represented Colt & Steel on the lease transaction.
