Senior-care service provider expands geographical reach          

LONGMONT — Inga Jermaine, a franchisee of Always Best Care Services based in Longmont, has expanded the area in which she provides senior-care services.

Jermaine, based at 135 Coffman St. in Longmont, has been providing services since 2012 in Longmont, Boulder and Louisville, and on Monday she announced that the franchise will begin serving clients in Broomfield, Westminster and Thornton.

Roseville, Calif.-based Always Best Care provides nonmedical in-home care,

assisted-living placement services and skilled home health care. The company has more than 200 independently owned and operated franchise territories throughout the United States and Canada.

Prior to opening Always Best Care of Boulder County in 2012, Jermaine worked as an independent massage therapist for 17 years. She was the primary caregiver for her mother before losing her to breast cancer in 2009. The loss led her to pursue a master’s degree in health care from Regis University in Denver in 2011.

Always Best Care franchise owners work with case managers, social workers, discharge planners, doctors and families to provide services that can be matched to a client’s particular physical or social needs.
