Griffis purchases Denver apartments for $126M

DENVER — Griffis Residential, a Greenwood Village-based real estate firm, has snapped up yet another Front Range apartment building.

The Denver Business Journal reports that the company acquired the Skye 2905 Urban Flats from Behringer Harvard, based in Dallas, for $126 million. The complex includes 400 units, with the price representing a per-unit price of $315,000.

Griffis has purchased numerous apartment complexes in the Denver metro area, including the Solana 3100 Pearl apartments in Boulder, which it acquired in October 2016 for $136 million. That project was renamed Griffis 3100 Pearl.
