Optiv Security purchases Pennsylvania cybersecurity firm

DENVER — Optiv Security, a Denver-based security-services company, has acquired Comm Solutions, a Pennsylvania cybersecurity company.

The Denver Post reports that the acquisition is part of continued expansion for Optiv, which formed with the merger of Accuvant and FishNet Security in 2015. Optiv offers services ranging from network monitoring to anti-hacking measures to cleaning up after data breaches.

Optiv late last year sold a majority stake to private equity company KKR.
