Healthy Skoop names Bennett president/CEO
BOULDER — Healthy Skoop, a Boulder-based maker of organic plant-based nutritional powders used in beverages, has named Robert Bennett as its president and chief executive.
Bennett joined the company in November as a consultant and acting CEO. He was officially named to the post Feb. 27.
During the consulting period, Bennett assessed the business, helped to secure new distribution, started to shape the innovation vision for the future and built the annual operating plan for the business in alignment with the comany’s board of directors.

Bennett has experience driving growth in natural products in entrepreneurial organizations such as Nature’s Variety, a raw pet food company, and Burt’s Bees, a maker of natural personal-care products. He also has experience at larger corporations such as Proctor & Gamble and Clorox.
Healthy Skoop plans to debut four new products at this week’s Natural Products Expo West, including a Kids Protein Smoothie, Daily Detox, Energy Protein and Greens & Protein.
Healthy Skoop was co-founded by Dr. James Rouse, Greg Stroh, Alex Bogusky and Robert Schuham.
