New Jersey company offers to buy Cib

GREENWOOD VILLAGE — A New Jersey-based company has offered to purchase Greenwood Village-based Ciber Inc. (NYSE: CBR), sending Ciber’s stock soaring Monday.

The Denver Business Journal reports that AMERI Holdings Inc. is offering 75 cents per share for Ciber’s outstanding stock. That’s well above Friday’s closing price of 28 cents per share. Ciber has not yet agreed to a sale.

Ciber provides information-technology consulting, managed services, and IT development and outsourcing.
