Developers propose 2,900-acre development near DIA

AURORA — Developers are proposing a new mixed-use development as part of the massive Aerotropolis development south of Denver International Airport.

The Denver Business Journal reports that Aurora Highlands LLC has proposed a 2,900-acre development that could more than double in size to 5,000 acres. Plans include housing, office, retail, industrial, parks and recreation areas.

Aerotropolis is a development area that encompasses 21,000 acres.
