Loveland Housing Authority and the Loveland Chamber of Commerce Leadership Loveland class announced the 2017 Loveland Design House event to help benefit the Homeless Veterans Program at The Edge. Through a collaborative effort with Wonderland Homes, a newly built home in Loveland will be transformed by the talents of local interior designers and open to the public for tours with purchase of tickets. The fundraiser officially will open April 21, and the house will be available for tours and other special events through May 14. The house, at 4483 Chaplin Creek Court in Loveland, is a three-bedroom, five-bathroom, 4,019-square-foot Acadia Modern Farmhouse. With more than a dozen design spaces for interior and landscape designers, designers and vendors are assigned to individual rooms and spaces to showcase their talents. All proceeds from the event will go to support the Homeless Veterans Program. The Edge, a 70-unit residential community opened in November by the Loveland Housing Authority, includes a building dedicated to providing affordable and permanent housing for homeless veterans. Information on ticket purchase, dates, times, events and sponsorship opportunities can be found at LovelandDesignHouse.org.
