MidWestOne bank plans expansion into Denver market

DENVER — MidWestOne Financial Group Inc. (Nasdaq: MOFG) plans to expand into the Denver market and has hired four local banking veterans to guide its entry.

The Denver Business Journal reports that MidWestOne Bank, based in Iowa City, Iowa, has hired First National Denver veteran Joe Van Haselen as regional president. Van Haselen had served as president of First National Denver. Joining him at MidWestOne will be Kevin Conroy, Erin Durante and Jessica Ness.

MidWestOne Bank operates 23 locations in Iowa, 18 locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and two in Florida.
