Denver lands U.S. headquarters for cloud-accounting firm Xero

DENVER — Cloud-accounting firm Xero has moved its U.S. headquarters from San Francisco to Denver.

The Denver Post reports that New Zealand-based Xero will maintain about 130 employees in San Francisco, with smaller operations in Austin, Texas; New York and Seattle.

But future expansion will focus on Denver, where the company will add to the 100 employees who are already in the city, growing to several hundred employees.
