McWhinney hires Lauener to serve as company president

LOVELAND — Developer McWhinney Real Estate Services Inc. has hired Candian Peter Lauener as president to oversee commercial development operations, the company said Monday.

McWhinney, with offices in Loveland and Denver, created the new position of president to work with the company’s leadership team on development and future growth.

Lauener is a veteran real estate professional with experience in real estate entitlement and development, including master-planned communities, commercial, industrial and residential developments. He has worked for Lusk Co. in Southern California, Catellus in Southern California and the Bay Area, and Intracorp in Southern California and Hawaii.
