Aims Foundation hires Jackson as executive director
GREELEY — Kelly Jackson has been hired as executive director of the Aims Community College Foundation, replacing former executive director Julie Buderus, who resigned last year.
Judy Knapp has been filling in on an interim basis since August.
Jackson previously was the development director for Greccio Housing in Greeley, where she was responsible for fundraising, donor cultivation, relationship development and marketing.

As the executive director of the Aims Foundation she will be responsible for the leadership and development of the foundation assets, maintaining and developing donor and alumni relationships, overseeing the grant-making and scholarship programs, supervising staff assigned to the foundation, collaborating with college and community leaders, and working with the foundation’s board to develop the foundation’s strategic direction.
The Aims Foundation’s purpose is to make college possible for those students who need financial assistance in attending Aims Community College in Greeley. The foundation’s revenues are given annually to the institution to offer fiscal support for scholarships, instructional and facilities needs, cultural activities and special programs.
Jackson’s experience includes leadership, business development and fundraising. She has numerous years of experience supporting and promoting nonprofit advancement including leadership of capital campaigns.
Jackson has previously served as president of the Colorado Springs Executive Association, secretary and membership chair for the Southern Colorado Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professional’s, vice president of Club Enchante, outreach coordinator for the Woman’s Club of Colorado Springs – After 5 Group and secretary/fundraising consultant for the Western Museum of Mining and Industry.
