Mulroy to keynote CSU Western Water Symposium

FORT COLLINS – Pat Mulroy, senior fellow at the University of Nevada Las Vegas law school, will keynote Colorado State University’s Western Water Symposium to be held July 25 in the Morgan Library.

The all-day event will include multiple speakers and panels discussing the politics of water in the American West.

Mulroy will speak about the possibility of reshaping water management practices throughout the West.

Online registration for the event is available on CSU’s website. General admission tickets cost $100, and student tickets are $50 each.

Other speakers that day will include:

Lafayette College professor DC Jackson, speaking about the separation of dam engineering from politics.

Former University of Colorado president and former Colorado Sen. Hank Brown, who will discuss the politics relating to the Cache la Poudre River, which flows through Fort Collins.

Denver Water CEO Jim Lochhead, who will talk about water allocation throughout the West.
