Eye center plans 2nd Fort Collins clinic in Harmony Technology Park

FORT COLLINS — The Eye Center of Northern Colorado has submitted a conceptual plan for a medical office building in the Harmony Technology Park in Fort Collins.

Plans are describing a 16,000- to 20,000-square-foot clinic on 2.45 acres of vacant land at the southeast corner of Zeigler Road and the proposed extension of Precision Drive. The building would be one-story or possibly a partial two-story configuration. Matt Rankin of r4 Architects Inc. of Fort Collins is designing the building.

The Eye Center of Northern Colorado has a clinic at 1725 E. Prospect Road in Fort Collins, and two clinics in Loveland at 2551 13th St. and 6125 Sky Pond Drive at Centerra.

The center is the eye-care provider for Colorado State University in Fort Collins and the LASIK provider for the Colorado Eagles professional ice hockey team. The practice has a team of 14 ophthalmologists and optometrists who have performed more than 38,000 refractive surgical procedures and more than 25,000 cataract procedures.

Harmony Technology Park is a 105-acre development in southeast Fort Collins previously part of the Hewlett-Packard campus and is approved for up to 1.3 million square feet of office. It is being developed by MAVD West LLC, the Colorado subsidiary of Michigan-based MAVDevelopment Co.
