Synergy Resources co-CEO Holloway sells 75,000 shares

Edward Holloway, co-chief executive of Platteville-based oil and gas company Synergy Resources Corp. (Nasdaq: SYRG), last week sold nearly $1-million-worth of the company’s shares according to a recent regulatory filing.

The filing made with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday showed that Holloway the day before had sold 75,000 shares at an average price of $13.09. He still owns nearly 3 million shares, according to the filing.

Analysts have been bullish on Synergy stock of late, with an average target price of $15.81 per share and “buy” or “strong buy” ratings from 15 of 16 analysts, according to Thomson First Call figures on Yahoo! Finance.
