Task force needs mortgage experts

DENVER – Experts with experience in Colorado loan originator laws and regulations can help create the state’s portion of the new national mortgage licensing system and registry exam.

The Division of Real Estate is looking for qualified candidates for a new, nine-member mortgage loan originator education task force. Individuals who represent industry associations are welcome and encouraged to apply but should not have a primary role in their association’s educational activities. Industry representatives cannot include anyone primarily related to educational firms or so-called test preparation firms.

Members will be selected by Oct. 26. Qualified professionals available to volunteer time and energy during the month of November and December should forward a resume with a request to be a member of the task force to the Director of Communication and Operations, Zachary Urban, at Zachary.Urban@dora.state.co.us.
