NCEDC announces reorganization

LOVELAND – The Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp. board of directors announced its new core management team Friday, as part of its overall restructuring plan.

Following the departure of former President and CEO Maury Dobbie May 29, the board further reduced staff to decrease costs. Vice President Michael Masciola will add direction of day-to-day operations to his existing duties. Stacy Johnson, director of business retention and expansion, will pick up the functions of investor relations, while Adam Krueger remains business development manager.

Overall management of the nonprofit NCEDC will be handled by a board transition team made up of chairman Paul Brinkman, Donna Smith and Joe Scherger.

“The core team at NCEDC has demonstrated that it is highly capable,” Brinkman said in a prepared statement. “The board is fully confident in the team’s ability, in continuing partnership with other community organizations, to deliver on its commitment to attract, expand and retain community jobs.”

NCEDC also announced that it plans to partner and work more closely with other local and regional nonprofit organizations to “do more with less” in the face of shrinking budgets.
