UNC students win Gold ECHO

GREELEY – University of Northern Colorado business students took home the first-place prize in a national direct marketing competition.

The Monfort College of Business student team of Maria Jerez, Francis Matturi and William Dozier received the Gold ECHO award for a direct marketing campaign created for Pitney Bowes. It is the tenth time a UNC team has placed in the top three in the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation’s Collegiate ECHO Awards.

This year’s competition challenged teams to create a $4 million innovative and integrated direct marketing campaign aimed at small businesses for a Pitney Bowes printer. The UNC team’s campaign was titled “Spice Up Your Mail.” Two other UNC teams also competed in the semifinals.
