Transitional housing breaks ground

LOVELAND – HomeAid Colorado and Village Homes broke ground Sept. 25 on what the organizations bill as the first project in Northern Colorado to help transition homeless families to permanent housing.

HomeAid and Village Homes are building a 2,000-square-foot duplex for the Interfaith Hospitality Network, a nonprofit that helps families achieve self-sufficiency. The duplex, dubbed Angel Village, will be built using “Built Green Colorado” guidelines.
