The Group closing Windsor office

WINDSOR – The Group Inc. Real Estate is closing its Windsor office this week after five years of leasing the location at 7785 Highlands Meadows Parkway.

Chuck McNeal, The Group Inc. chairman, said the decision to close the office was based on a desire by the company to reevaluate its Windsor location after its lease expired.

“We will reevaluate in the future as we see how things shake out along Crossroads (Boulevard),” McNeal said. “The bottom line is we don’t know how that will look yet.”

McNeal said The Group will still have six other office locations that it owns – three in Fort Collins, two in Loveland and one in Greeley.

He said most of the sales partners in the Windsor office are being shifted to The Group’s Harmony Road and Centerra offices, which are “well positioned” to serve the fast-growing Windsor area.

“Northern Colorado has really become a regional market and our sales partners in all of our offices work all over the region,” McNeal said. “So office locations don’t mean the same in our business as in retail.”
