2 more tenants announced for Village at the Peaks shopping center in Longmont

LONGMONT — Developer NewMark Merrill Mountain States on Tuesday announced two more tenants for the under-construction Village at the Peaks Shopping Center.

Samuels Jewelers and Spavia Day spa are the latest names added to the list for the $90 million, 490,000-square-foot redevelopment of the former Twin Peaks Mall site at 1250 S. Hover St.

NewMark Merrill also announced Tuesday that the company has given possession to Regal Cinemas, Gold’s Gym, Sports Authority and Wyatt’s Wine & Spirits to complete the build-out of their stores as the first phase of store openings nears in the fall.

Samuels is a national chain that at one time had a store in the Twin Peaks Mall. It has two stores in Colorado currently, in Colorado Springs and Grand Junction.

Spavia, meanwhile, has four locations in Colorado, including in Boulder at the Twenty Ninth Street mall and at the Orchard Town Center in Westminster.

The announcement brings the total number of tenants for Village at the Peaks to 25. Developers have previously stated that the shopping center is now more than 80 percent leased, with anchors including Regal Cinemas, Sam’s Club and Whole Foods.
