University of Colorado Campus Facilities plan now available on Web

BOULDER — The University of Colorado at Boulder’s 10-year Campus Facilities Master Plan is on the Web.

The Master Plan, after three years of study and evaluation, is the first to involve the Boulder community and all campus constituents.

Vice Chancellor for Administration Paul Tabolt said the plan is a catalog of needs based on immediate and projected programs. He said that the year’s budget would determine the order of priorities. The plan is divided into five areas: institutional goals and analysis; the campus setting; the facilities’ needs; land and facilities plan; and enactment and implementation policies.

It provides detailed plans for use of university land on the main campus, the “east campus,” Williams Village, the CU-Boulder “south campus” and the Mountain Research Station near Ward. The Regents expect to take final action on the plan in February 2000.
