Colorado advancing bill to ease tasting rules for brewing science programs

Colorado lawmakers are working on a bill that would allow colleges in the state with brewing sciences programs to let students taste the beer they brew without the school securing a license.

Th Greeley Tribune reports that Colorado’s House passed the bill unanimously last week. The bill, however, would not allow students who are younger than 21 to taste the beer, and any beer left over after the tasting is done would have to be thrown out.
